php-cas software package provides Central Authentication Service client library in php, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install php-cas
php-cas is installed in your system.
Make ensure the php-cas package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep php-cas *
You will get with php-cas package name, version, architecture and description in a table
